Just A Gripe
If you’re life is full of your own complaints, you may want to just move on. Otherwise, enjoy.
I have two desks, on in my office and one in the kitchen. I keep several Pens in both places as well as in my purse, on my night stand next to my bed, on the stand next to my bedroom recliner, in the basket in the bathroom, and in the laundry room. You never know when you’ll be inspired and need to jot down a thought.
Yesterday, I had just one pen. I searched everywhere for my pens but found only the one in my purse. No one has seen my pens. No one uses them. They just sit there and suddenly, they all jump up and march out the door, tired of the boredom of waiting to be used.
I know, it’s a fascinating situation. I’m just putting it out there in case someone who studies such inexplicable phenomena would like to look into this.
In the meantime, I’m keeping a close eye on my last remaining pen.

We must buy the same kind of pens, because most of mine walked away too!
I have a theory….the junk mail & catalogs that breed in dark places steal them…. I have the same issue with sharpened pencils… they were RIGHT THERE….
one method I use is to stick two post-it notes at one end and then staple them together . . . they’ll stick out like sore thumbs!
Gary, you don’t have kids, do you? Because mine would rip those sticky notes off of there just because they can.
