Father’s Day Gift

Yes, I plan ahead.

Just before Brian left for Hawaii, he took his truck in to be serviced. It turned out the part it needed cost around $2000. That’s not a typo; there are really three zeros behind that 2. Can you imagine?

But I was thinking about how I got chrome running boards and side mirrors for his last truck and how happy that made him. I think I did it for Father’s Day that time, too.

So this time I’m thinking about a nice truck rack. I know he loves his truck and I’m pretty sure he’d like something like that since he uses his truck for work. My idea is to get Rich to fix the mechanical problems and install this $2000 made-of-gold part then have him drive it over to Nick’s to have the racks put on. I just know Brian will be surprised when he gets home!
