You can do a "quick comment" which strips any html without registering. If you register it sends you your password and then you can login. Then you must create a profile (which can have 2 links). THEN you can comment with html (ie: links without no follow). It's a bit complicated but keeps the spammers out (and I guess everyone else)! I called Verizon to disconnect 3 landlines on Tuesday.
