They brought out a Director's Cut of The Exorcist in cinemas, but thankfully they didn't remake it yet. I think the new Halloween is quite different from the original. John Carpenter told Rob Zombie to make it his own and I really think he did. The biggest change is that the first scene of the 70s version makes up the whole first half of the new version. I didn't realise he was coming out with Halloween. House of 1000 Corpses was pretty uneven. Brilliant in places, terrible in others. Hope Halloween is a big success for him.
