I really need to update here more often. I have a huge list of sites to write about but I’ve been suffering from heat related headaches lately. Every time I have to drive somewhere, the heat gets to me. My Auto air conditioning is not running the way it ought to and with such high humidity, my head usually feels like it’s going to explode.
I guess it’s time to schedule another repair job. Or is it time to trade in the Malibu?

I have a number of sites I need to check out and explore so I can blog about them here. Unfortunately, I also have to clean up my office before I can blog.
I have no idea what went on in my office - or the entire house, for that matter - while I was out. For some reason, the living room blinds were on my desk and the couch cushions were stacked up by the windows.
No, I didn’t ask why. Yes, I’m curious. But I’m more afraid of the answer.

I get phone calls at least once a week from a friend or family member wanting some type of information that they can’t seem to locate online. They call me because I always seem to find the information they want. I suppose this is a good thing.
I went through my search history recently and discovered that, along with the things that interest me, I’d also done searches for electric dirt bikes, a specific real estate broker, canvas awning, Bob Ross, Kohlrabi, US Savings Bonds and Superman 3. Now, you may see that as wasted time on my part since I really wasn’t interested in any of those things. I see it as an unexpected learning experience. Maybe I don’t need any of that information right now. But knowledge is never wasted.

I’ve been trying to keep up with posting here but I’m definitely getting behind. I have my notes and links ready to post but one things leads to another and I’ve let another day go by without blogging here. On the up side, my other blog is chugging along nicely. Now, what to do here.
I thought about conducting some market research to determine the ideal frequency to post here. Okay, the ideal frequency would be daily, I know. Short of that, I’m going to attempt to update this blog two to three times per week. That’s my goal. Let’s see how that goes. Stay tuned.

I don’t. I can barely remember what day it is most of the time. I’m not that old, I know, but it seems that the more things I’m supposed to remember the less likely I am to recall even the simplest things. Like today’s date.
You would think that any society that can create better and more powerful computers would find a way to tweak my mind to remember more. Why isn’t there IBM memory for my brain? Wouldn’t that be a great idea? And why has no one done it yet? Come on, baby boomers! Demand more memory!

Our Living Room and Family Room are connected in an “L” shape. In fact, if you add our Dining room, it’s a “U” shape. But it’s the Living Room and Family Room that concern me now. The shape is making it very hard to rearrange the furniture.
We’ve always kept our Living Room very simply with two love seats near the fireplace. But now with Kendyll’s toys filling up part of that area and flowing into the family room, things are getting tight. The family room is a problem anyway because it’s a long rectangle with one very long wall. I’ve always wanted to arrange the furniture for home theater seating with a flat TV on the long wall. I’m just not sure that’s going to work.
Anyone know of any sites with home decorating ideas?

I did a little cleaning last week and found some old golf clubs that Jesse picked up at a yard sale. I don’t want Jesse to know but I gave them away. Shhh! Don’t tell him.
I still have Jesse’s good clubs that I bought him for his birthday one year. The ones I gave to his buddy were pretty old and not really usable since they’re left handed clubs and Jesse is right handed. I have no idea why he kept them. At least now someone will get some use of them.

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to attend PostieCon, a terrific blogger’s convention, this June. It really depends whether my husband will be in Hawaii or not. If I can make it, will my husband want to go with me? If so, I’ll need to look into an Orlando vacation rental rather than a simple hotel room. We could make this a week long vacation.
I think I’m beginning to like getting older. I think I like the idea of taking these trips.

I doubt I’ll ever be able to afford a home in Hawaii, and certainly not on my beloved Kauai. That’s why I’ve been researching property prices around the country. I really don’t want to deal with winter anymore. I hate snow and I’m getting too old to deal with it.
I was kind of surprised to find such reasonable prices on Las Vegas Real Estate. I expected the prices to be quite high, almost like Hawaii. Maybe that would be a good place for us. It has a terrific building industry which is perfect for Brian. And the weather is perfect for me.
I need to talk to Brian about this latest brainstorm.
If you’re life is full of your own complaints, you may want to just move on. Otherwise, enjoy.
I have two desks, on in my office and one in the kitchen. I keep several Pens in both places as well as in my purse, on my night stand next to my bed, on the stand next to my bedroom recliner, in the basket in the bathroom, and in the laundry room. You never know when you’ll be inspired and need to jot down a thought.
Yesterday, I had just one pen. I searched everywhere for my pens but found only the one in my purse. No one has seen my pens. No one uses them. They just sit there and suddenly, they all jump up and march out the door, tired of the boredom of waiting to be used.
I know, it’s a fascinating situation. I’m just putting it out there in case someone who studies such inexplicable phenomena would like to look into this.
In the meantime, I’m keeping a close eye on my last remaining pen.
