I’m always looking various places to invest in real estate. It isn’t that I don’t like my home state of West Virginia. Or maybe that is it. I just know there has to be someplace with better weather, better shcools and better business opportunities.

I’ve noticed that the beaufort nc real estate market has a lot to offer right now. I’m not thrilled with not being closer to Hawaii but I know my husband prefers to stay on the East coast. Perhaps this is one we can check out during a weekend trip.

While researching ways to afford a yearly visit to Hawaii, especially if my son decides to not stay there, I came across the concept of Condo Hotels. I think this may be an interesting answer to my dilemma. It seems these are more reasonably priced than some other options.

This may also be an affordable way for me to finally own a unit in Hawaii. If we buy, we can use it for one month and let the hotel association rent it out the other 11 months. That should make paying it off much easier. I think I need to get the numbers on paper so I can present this to the Husband.

We’re searching for reasonably priced hotels right now, hopefully with high speed internet access, in a variety of locations. We probably won’t fly so it’ll have to be within driving distance. I think an Orlando Vacation is as far as we’d be willing to go by car.

I’m researching sites that help travelers and just realized that most deal with airlines and flights or rental cars. Anyone know of any sites that specialize in driving vacations?
